 Comings and goings from the Association AGM on 28th April 2007, including presentations to two of the KIDS.RING.OUT youngsters.
It was a beautiful afternoon as the Assciation headed to the South Wales Valleys for the AGM. There was ringing beforehand at Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare. Revd John Baldwin officated during the Service at very short notice, music being provided by Roger Masterman. This was followed by a fine tea and Meeting in Aberdare Church Hall.
The meeting itself was notable for amendments to the Rules in respect of Honorary/Life Membership and for saying "goodbye" to Fred Jackson and Mike Penney, the outgoing Chairman and General Secretary respectively, as they had both come to the end of their 6-year maximum term of Office. They were both thanked for their hard work in the usual way.

Immediately prior to the Meeting awards were presented by Pip Penney to two of the KIDS.RING.OUT gang. Certificates were presented to Daniel James of Aberdare for ringing his first quarter peal and Ffion Bounds of Llantwit Major for ringing her first peal.
