I'm very pleased to report that the work on the tower at Monmouth has now been completed and the bells are back in action. Practices will be on a Friday evening beginning this coming Friday (7th May).
On Saturday 26th June there will be a day of celebrations to mark the completion of the work. The ringers have been asked to ring for about 30 minutes at 12noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. In the intervening periods there will be various events (choir performances, organ recitals etc) going on in the church. Margaret Wrightson is looking for ringers who may be able to help out for one or more ringing sessions. If you are able to lend a hand then please do contact Margaret on 01600 715752 or keithwrightson@googlemail.com .
